The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, demons, and dark forces increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the main group to undertake their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the DM, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might appear out of place, but the actions of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death started the campaign’s events—used the foes for his personal gain, invading the secret base, striking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

Casimir then paid off his liabilities and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the team reach areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Strategists groups.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which characters will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
