Despite entering their first-ever continental campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are adapting at a rapid pace. Missing key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a comfortable win that all but secures them a spot in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct passage to the last 16, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This occasion provided a chance for several Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a well-taken goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second game in match.

Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
